About

Who the Hell is This Guy?

Ivi was born in Albania and raised in the town of Catskill in upstate New York. A fan of stand up his entire life, Ivi first dabbled in open mics in Ithaca, NY while studying at Cornell University. In 2020, he finally manned up and started doing open mics around DC. In his spare time you can find him attending comedy shows around the District, going to record stores, and turning his every day idiotic thoughts into comedic material. His comedy focuses on growing up as an immigrant in the U.S., talking about his parents, and generally being as self-deprecating as he can. You can see him perform regularly as a member of the Kinda Live Comedy team and as a deputy showrunner with Capital Laughs. He produces charitable events as part of the Balkan Bash Comedy Productions team and also hosts and produces a house show out of his living room (seriously) called House Rules Comedy, which has been featured in the Washingtonian and the DCist.
